Coffee Rater stores everything you create on your own device. We do not run servers that collect your data, we have no analytics or tracking, and we never sell or share your information. The only place your data goes beyond your device is your own private iCloud account, if you have iCloud enabled, so your coffees can sync between your Apple devices.
Everything you enter stays in the app's local storage on your device, including:
If you attach a photo to a coffee, the app asks for permission to use your camera or photo library. Photos are stored only with that coffee entry on your device (and your iCloud, if enabled). They are never uploaded to us.
If you tag where you tasted a coffee, the app asks for permission to use your location. The coordinates are saved only with that coffee entry on your device. Location is never tracked in the background and never sent to us.
If iCloud is enabled on your device, the app uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage to sync your coffees between your own Apple devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of Coffee Rater has no access to it.
None. Coffee Rater has no accounts, no login, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not receive any of your data.
You can delete any coffee in the app (deleted items sit in "Recently deleted" for 30 days, then can be permanently purged). Deleting the app from your device removes its local data. To remove synced data, clear the app's iCloud data from your device's iCloud settings.
Coffee Rater is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
